DPMM FC are in talks to sign Philippines national team defensive midfielder/centre back Christian Rontini. Rontini currently plays in the Thai League 1 club, Nongbua Pitchaya. The Italian-born player spent the 2023/24 season playing for Persita Tangerang before moving to Madura United in 2024. He is still in the selection in the Philippines national team set-up.

Rontini decided to convert Islam on 5th September,2023.After converting Islam, he changed his name to Yasir Ali. On 28th October,2023, Rontini married his girlfriend,Amanda Gonzales, who is the daughter of former Indonesian national team player Cristian Gonzales.
