DPMM FC are interested in signing Malaysian, Argentinian born striker Rodrigo Holgado. From 2017-2018, Holgado played in Mexico for Albinegros Orizaba and Veracruz.

In 2018,Holgado moved to Chile and joined Coquimbo Unido in the second level, winning the league title. In Chile, he also played for Audax Italiano and Curico Unido before rejoining Coquimbo Unido in 2023 at the top division on loan from Argentine side Gymnasia La Plata. During the 2022-2023 season he scored 24 goals for Audax and Curico. In 2024, the 31-year old moved to Colombia and joined America de Cali in which he was amongst the top-scorer for the Colombian top-tier club with 17 goals.
