During the 2014/2015 season, he played 6 matches for Manchester United in the league before moving to Reading FC in 2017/2020 season. During his times in Reading FC, Tyler played a total of 97 matches for Reading FC. He then moved to MLS playing for Cincinnati and spent two years playing for Cincinnati FC. In 2022/2023 season, he spent his two seasons playing at home in England playing for League 1 team Rotherham United.
