DPMM FC will start their first training of the season in the upcoming debut in the Malaysian Super League 2025/2026. Scott Allardice and Chijioke Akuneto are the players to watch for the tryouts. There are other players as well finding slots to be in the roster for DPMM FC. Five other Malaysian players will also be looking for places in the squad.

Chijioke Akuneto was the Nigerian Professional League's top-scorer in the 2021-2022 season with 19 goals playing for Rivers United. In July,2022 he was called-up into the Nigerian squad for the 2022 African Nations Championship qualification.

Scott Allardice recently played for Ross County,in the Scottish Premiership and has been a regular figure in the team, playing 30 matches during the 2023 season. The 27-year old midfielder signed a one year contract with Dundee United back in 2018.
