Velez CF made the signing of former DPMM midfielder Blake Ricciuto official.

Footballers continue to arrive at Velez CF to face the next campaign. The latest addition by the Velena entity is the Australian of Uruguayan descent, Blake Ricciuto. A true globestrotter in the world of football, he has had the opportunity to play in countries such as Uruguay,Australia and Brunei. Now,he will try his luck in Spain.

"From Velez CF the signing of midfielder Blake is made official for the next 2020/2021 season. With Blake we get a central midfielder who could contribute well in attack and defense.He is Australian but of Uruguayan descent, so he speaks English and Spanish.Blske has experience from different leagues throughout the club and has always been an important player for his team on and off the pitch due to his qualities, hard work and a very professional and friendly character," the club said through a press release disseminated in its official media.

The first steps in the career of Blake Ricciuto took place in Australia;his first club was the St.George Saints.An entity where the player had good performances, which facilitated his arrival at the prolific quarry of one of the giants of Uruguayan soccer; CA Penarol.In the Aurinegro club he remained between 2012 and 2014, setting good performances.

His debut in senior categories occurred in 2015, when he played on lion for the Uruguayan Canadian.Later, in 2016.Blake returned to Australia to reinforce the Rockdale Suns.He stayed at the club for three years.

In 2019,he faced a new challenge in his career; he accepted the proposal of DPMM FC to play in their ranks. A club in which Blake played 24 official matches, reaching nine goals.Now,he will play in the Spanish Third Division with Velez CF.
